  • 1. a dangerous cargo vessel over g/t 10,000 ton can have an additional tug boat with its hp over 2,000(agreement by pilotage operation association on apr. 26, 2001)
  • 2. night time pilotage is possible only when velocity is less than 1.0knots (agreement by pilotage operation association on apr. 26, 2001)
  • 3. keel clearance should be more than 15% of draft (agreement by pilotage operation association on apr. 26, 2001)
  • 4. a vessel with draft of 13m or blow can depart at night. (agreement by pilotage operation association on apr. 30, 2007)
  • 5. a general vessel and a dangerous cargo vessel in sapo port have the same tonnage applied. (agreement by pilotage operation association on dec. 08, 2004)
  • 6. an agency should install 2 temporary light sources when berthing at night in yeosu new port. running two tug boats is also needed whenever a berth is not equipped with a fender (confirmed on aug. 5, 2009)
  • 7. the size of a vessel berthing at hadong thermal power generation port at night (agreement by pilotage operation association) panamax (40,000 g/t or less) including alam penting (a new ship) exception: under the condition that an additional tug boat should be supported when the current in a port is 0.5kt or less.
  • 8. time restriction on night time pilotage of cape size vessels at hadong thermal power generation port (agreement by pilotage operation association)
    • * time of entrance: from 30 minutes before sunrise to 2 hours before sunset
    • * time of departure: from 15 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset
  • 9. berthing and unberthing at hadong: as of sep.23, 2011
    • * berthing in the day time : less than 80,000 g/t and over 80,000 g/t
      • 1) until dec.31, 2011: port 2

      • * launching in the day time: a pilot can use g.b at his discretion when it is over 80,000 g/t
      • * berthing at night: at embarking line of 2330 for less than 40,000g/t

  • 10. posco extension line at night
    • 1) additional 6 months from may. 08, 2011: 80,000 (g/t)
    • 2) 6 months to dec. 31, 2012: less than 100,000 gt

  • 11. night time pilotage for entering and departing vessels over ct 1,000ton at myodo route use escort tug (reconfirmed by pilotage operation association on aug.5, 2009)
  • 12. add an additional tug under the fullowing condition when t/s vessels depart (agreement by pilotage operation association on aug. 05, 2009)
    • 1) over g/t 40,000ton
    • 2) when a command ship is a dangerous cargo vessel and another vessel is a loading vessel
    • 3) average wind velocity over 20kts
    • 4) request a pilot with other reasons
